Say what?

4 Mar

Singing: “Pee pee diaper! Pee pee diaper! Pee pee diaper time!!!!!” You don’t know it??? It’s the Pee Pee Diaper song. There’s also one for poopy diapers: “Stinky butt, stinky butt, stinky butt boy!!!”

When I dreamed of singing lullabys and sweet little songs to my darling son, it never crossed my mind that the majority of the time his diaper messes would be the subject of those songs.

This isn’t too shocking though, because I’ve also started speaking some sort of googoogaga-ish language.

“Booboo’s a silly, billy, willy, boy. Where’s your binker stinker? What happended to your bink-a-bink stinker stink?”  Translation: “Awww, did your pacifier fall out? Where is it?”

Weird? I dunno.

I’ll say this; it does come in handy when I’m by myself with baby and want to talk, but having nothing important to say. I can just start talking jibberish and he will smile and laugh like it’s the best thing he’s ever heard in his entire life. And that makes me smile.

Ha ha!! We sing a rap song called “Poops in your doops”. It goes like this: “You got poops, you got poops in your doops. Poops, poops, poops, you got poops” Repeat. And repeat, and repeat and repeat.

HA! Love it! It’s funny what you can come up with when trying to entertain baby.

Say something!
