I suppose one benefit of this crappy winter weather is I get to do a lot of DIY projects.

I’m not a big sewer. Heck, I don’t even know how to actually sew. I attempted to learn how to use an actual sewing machine before but after watching countless YouTube videos and still screwing it up, I decided it just wasn’t for me. I wish I could do it, but my brain just won’t let me šŸ˜‰

Anyhow, I was really wanting new throw pillows for my couch. Mine always mysteriously end up smeared with grease and oil stains, hmmm… I wonder how that happens?? (Husband!) Anyhow, instead of buying brand new pillows I thought I’d try to save some money and use the pillows I already have as inserts for pillow covers.

I ended up finding this super easy how to on DIY no sew pillow covers online. Now, my pillows look stinkin’ cute and the husband? He won’t be allowed near them until he’s showered off the mess from work.
